Great Barr Photographic Society is hosting an open day to include a number of hands on events and exhibitions.
Whatever your level of photography, from absolute beginner to seasoned professional, Great Barr Photographic Society invite you to pop along to their Open Day. We’re hosting an exhibition and a series of workshops that will cover everything from composing a photograph, camera settings and image manipulation software. And as an added bonus, get a discount into the photography show itself!
We have our members busy creating tutorials on as many aspects of photography than you can shake a stick at.
Our first turtorial is aimed at the novice photographer (or maybe the intermediate photographer who would like a refresher) and covers the exposure triangle. If you're unclear about the the relationship between ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture here's an introduction that's free to download.
On Saturday we took some photographers who’d never worked in a studio off to work in a studio.
I think it’s fair to say that our visit to Aura Photographic Studios was a big success. Six of our members enjoyed the company of Gracie Love, a very professional and experienced model, Matt Walton who is just starting his modelling journey and Barry Phillips, the pro photographer and owner of the studio.
