They photograph everything from the very small with macro lenses all the way up to grand vistas, and particularly enjoy showing animals and nature in the wider environment, as well as the smallest details of creatures.
“Rainforest” – this talk concentrates on photography in the rainforests of South and Central America, especially Costa Rica, Ecuador and Panama. Photography in this area can be particularly challenging as the photographer is faced with poor lighting, high contrast, an array of fast moving, shy wildlife and constant high humidity. While explaining the interconnections within this special ecosystem, they will also talk about how they use techniques such as high-speed flash and field studios, techniques which are just as applicable in an English garden.
