Our Away Battle with Sutton Coldfield
On Friday the 10th of November, we travelled to Sutton Coldfield Photographic Society for a friendly inter club competition.
As is often stated, photography is the winner when we get together to share our images, but when it came to the points, the winner was Great Barr Photographic Society. It ended with Sutton Coldfield scoring 314 points to Great Barr's 350.
A couple of mentions in the print section, Mel Hobson scored a maximum 20 Points with The Painting On The Wall as did Gary Hurdman with his images Gwithian At Night and Sophie. Scoring 19 points we had Clive Gidney with Coniston From Kelly Hall Tarn, Simon Page with The Cowboy abd Helen Lloyd with The Poacher.
In DPI it's worth mentioning Lynn McLhone for scoring the maximum 20 points with Dunstanburgh Castle and Clive hit high on the the scoresheet again scoring 19 points with Llyn Padarn Tree.
A great night of phtography with both clubs proving that there are some talented photographers up in North Birmngham.
