It’s now a monthly competition. It’s just for fun, the idea is to go out and shoot rather than create an award winning image. Hopefully it will stir the creative pot and give you some ideas to go back and create that image that brings in the medals ;)
The winner of the monthly competition has the privilege of setting the theme for the next month and also judging the entries.

For all the fans of sandscape and cityscape photography, we have Verity Miligan popping in to Great Barr Photographic Society on the 2nd of November 2017.
Verity will be discussing her approach to photographing our world and also discussing her approach to photographic development including social media and choosing the right kind of mentor and role models.
October is approaching which means only one thing. Membership fees are due.
It's never nice handing over money (at least for this writer, I'm rather tight) but the fees offer excellent value for money and we look forward to welcoming all members, old and new into GBPS.
